Start with someone you know

by Jon
(Austin, TX, USA)

Start by shooting your friends or family. Once you get used to shooting them, you can try friends of friends - like at a party, or BBQ, or other event, where the environment is still friendly or familiar, but you start shooting people who have maybe one degree of separation from you. This will gradually build your confidence to go out and shoot strangers.
