Black Panther

As we all know, this awesome creature is very swift and cunning. Never stays still for too long. I had difficulty to capture his photograph, spent lot of time repositioning my spot and camera adjustment. Finally, I got lucky for the right moment. I quickly took few snaps. This is one of them for this month's photo challenge. Taken on a photo tour.

Lens Painting

by Daniela Negreda
(Lausanne, Switzerland)

A couple of years ago I participated on a workshop called Lens Painting. I fell in love with the technique and since then whenever I have an opportunity I use it in the field.

This image was taken at a garden in Mississauga, Ontario. I paint the image combining movement of the camera and the lenses zoom. I especially like this one because the subject is recognizable and the colours are very vibrant.

While out taking some photos of birds I noticed this bird house and thought I heard some chirping from inside. So I snuck around front and waited for the perfect moment.

THE PLASTIC TREE

THE PLASTIC TREE

WHILE WAITING FOR MY CHILD TO COME OUT OF SCHOOL ON A RAINY DAY I PARKED RIGHT BY THIS TREE. IT JUST CAME TO MY MIND TO INTERPRET THE TREE AS PLASTIC SO THAT IT WOULD NOT GET WET. SOME FILTER MAGIC LATER AND THIS IS THE RESULT.
