A Mix of Reflections
by Mabel Au
(Mississauga, Ontario, Canada)
Reflection of the building on the shiny globe mixed with the reflection of trees on the calm koi pond created a colorful artistic image. The two red koi in the water with their distinctive color added some life to the picture.
Where's the photographer? ... I shot this picture from behind the window on the upper level of the building, I could almost see my own reflection on the ball when zoom in. Picture taken in Las Vegas.
Natures Make up
by Toni Balestra
(Aspen, CO, USA)
My boyfriend always plans a surprise trip for my birthday and this year it was Aspen. He drives me anywhere and everywhere to take pictures. We can be going down the road and see something that I want to take a picture of and he turn around an go back so that I can get me picture. This has been one of my favorite reflection pictures that I have taken. Love the bright bold color and how beautiful and peaceful this place is, and enjoyed hiking around here.

Fall Colors, Oxtong RIver

(Thornhill, Ont., Canada)
Brilliant fall colors reflecting in the water have a special magic to me. I can stand and look at them for hours....
Wrinkly cabbage tree
by Coralie Smith
(Motueka, New Zealand)
When a friend and I went looking for reflections at the local Sanctuary Ponds it had dried up with the present drought. We were saved by the tide pushing up behind the ponds into this waterway. The cabbage tree beside the footbridge provided the reflection and I have sharpened and coloured to make something more interesting. The tufts of grass showing through the water add to the image.

I took this photo in Chiang Mai, Thailand last November. I was just passing by when a class of monks were receiving a lecture of some sort. Given the heat, the rain puddle didn't last long so I was fortunate to capture this image.

Reflective Water Drop
by Gary Wiesner
(Hillsborough, NJ, USA)
One morning after a snowfall in Cape May NJ, I was just shooting water drops. I find them interesting for some unknown reason. While reviewing my photos in Lightroom something caught my eye.
I enlarged this photo and found this reflection. It's style reminds me of Edvard Munch's style of Symbolism of which The Scream is one of my favorite paintings.
The sky is falling !!!
The clouds are about to go over the water's edge any second, along with some leaves hanging on for dear life :-) Taken at Walter's Falls Ont. Cheers Manfred

Every year for about the past 30 years, my husband & I disappear into the Botswana or Namibian wilderness. We camp in some of the most beautiful places. Early morning some ellys arrived for their breakfast drink & I managed to catch a whole elephant in the water!!

RUNNING ON REFLECTIONS
A COLD NOVEMBER EARLY MORNING I WAS AT THE EAST STROUDSBURG UNIVERISITY TRACK, IN MONROE COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. I VISIT THE TRACK ABOUT TWICE A WEEK, VERY EARLY IN THE MORNING, JUST BARELY AT SUN BREAK. THE DAY HAD STARTED WITH THE ENDING NIGHT SHOWERS AND THE AIR WAS CRISP AND CLEAR. I NOTICED THE PINE TREES REFLECTING ON A TRACK SURFACE WATER PUDDLE. I CARRY AN POINT AND SHOOT AT ALL TIMES, AS THIS IS THE CASE.
THANK YOU JULIE AND FELLOW PHOTOGRAPHERS FOR LETTING ME SHARE MY PHOTOS WITH YOU.

Dishwasher Pond in Shepard's Canyon, Mission Trails Natural Park, San Diego with a low sun behind me. A slight breeze set up the ripples. One of our favorite hikes in our semi-desert city.

The pukeko is an iconic bird in New Zealand. I liked the way his colours were reflected as he paddled through the water. The overhanging willows made a nice ripply reflection around him.

The sun was shining through the window onto the lid of a laptop when I noticed this reflection on our vinyl covered table. It looked very galactic to me!
